Post-operative care and physiotherapy are equally crucial aspects of the rehabilitation, the team has been giving training and counseling to the sangam members, social workers and the parents of the persons who got operated, recognizing their important role in the individual disabled's life. The Commitments team has decided to give priority to persons with Cerebral Palsy and physically challenged persons whose disability can be corrected through surgery. Mr. Srinivas, a physiotherapist, who is a consultant for Commitments, visits the 22 villages, of the four mandals, of the person who need physiotherapy, to give hands on training to the parents, social workers and the sangam members of those particular villages, in physical management. Mr. Srinivas has been personally attending 50 persons with Polio and Cerebral Palsy. Because of these training sessions, today all of the persons who have had surgical corrections are either walking independently or with the aid of braces. Distribution of wheel
