Was responsible for nurturing' Commitments' during its formative years and providing it with support and reach in Andhra Pradesh. Currently active in Dalit issues and empowerment of disadvantaged and marginalized people.

Currently working as Joint Secretary, NAC, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He did pioneering work as National Project Coordinator of South Asia Poverty Alleviation Project (SAPAP) and as Chief Executive Officer of Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Hyderabad. A recognized expert on participatory development and sustainable development among the rural poor and the disadvantaged.

 Late Mr.S.R.Shankaran IAS (Retired), was our distinguished chairman for long time till his demise in September 2010.
A distinguished public servant, whose contributions to the socio-economic development of disadvantaged persons especially SCs/STs in the country are well known. Since his retirement from Government of India, as Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development is active on issues relating to Social Discrimination, especially among Scheduled Castes and on Human Rights issues.
